In late 2006 I was planning a trip to Canada/USA in the summer of 2007, and I discovered to my surprise, that I had enough money to go on an extra trip (however short), to another destination.

So where do you go when you only have one week? You go to a destination in about the same time zone. In my case it was a trip to Africa.

If you go on this trip you should be prepared for very simple accommodation. In some campsites there are no running water or flush toilets, but the animal life an scenery is unbeatable.

Highlights of this trip was: Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.
